Telemedicine kept simple

‘Telemedicine kept simple’ describes the simple, cheap and effective store-and-forward telemedicine system (using a digital camera and email) introduced in 1998 by the British Defence Medical Services. It has been adopted by the
Swinfen Charitable Trust since 1999 to deliver a free telemedicine service to assist the medical management of poor, sick and disabled people worldwide.
