Wreath-laying ceremony with the George Cross Island Association at Malta's National War Memorial, 20 April 2026
Malta Visit 2026' is: The Military Surgical Society visited Malta for a combined meeting with the Association of Surgeons of Malta on 18 April, and to participate with the George Cross Island Association and the Armed Forces of Malta in the annual commemorations of the award of the George Cross to Malta on 15 April 1942. During the meeting with the Association of Surgeons of Malta, Colonel Paul Parker L/RAMS (Vice-President of the Military Surgical Society) delivered a keynote online lecture 'Trauma Care on the Future Battlefield.
